Our Fourth Grade Team: My name is Michelle Madera and I have been teaching fourth grade for five years at New Town Elementary School. This year I am teaching three math classes as well as a language arts class. I am very excited to be able to work with so many of our fourth grade students this year! In addition, Ms. Miedlar and I work together running the award winning New Town Dance Troupe and love being able to be a part of this after school activity. I am originally from New York, but moved to Maryland after attending Towson University where I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I am currently working on my master’s at Goucher College in At Risk Students. I look forward to another wonderful school year! My name is Lisa Barnett and I am a 4th grade teacher.
